Re: WARNING, thumbplay
FYI...anyone can have these Premium Text Messages blocked by Sprint customer service. Blocking them will prevent any short code messages being sent to/from your phone, thus avoiding any charges.

Re: WARNING, thumbplay
thumb play has lawyers so trust me somewhere on that download form there was a contract. and by participating you agreed. yea its sleazy but there are dozens of those companies on every carrier and they have hundreds of customers that participate. be careful what u sign up for and be glad u learned the lesson so cheap.

Re: WARNING, thumbplay
LMAO at stupid people who blame the carrier when they are charged for PSMS. It is in no way the carriers fault, and entirely your fault. READ THE FINE PRINT! When you download these items, you are authorizing the 3rd party service to bill you for their monthly subscription.
My God, why don't people take responsibility?

And I don't argue with that. But admit that it is shady. They're exploiting a technicality in contract law.

The kids that see the commercials and think 'Oh, free ringtone!' They aren't being up front about the fees of their service that is being advertised as free, so you bet your *** that's shady. |
