Touch screen controlling PPC device

Here is the goal, I would like to have a touch screen in my car that connects to my device via 11 pin USB and have the touch screen control my device. So basically I would be using the device as the carputer.

Is this even possible?

I am very new to this site and reading the descriptions for each forum, this seemed like the place to post this question. Please let me know if I was incorrect.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Touch screen controlling PPC device

Welcome to PPC Geeks.. A wealth of knowledge is at your fingertips.. This was a good place to post your question... There is software that can be ran that can enable you to control your phone from a computer.. I am not sure of any touch-based software.. Unless you have a touch-screen computer..

Re: Touch screen controlling PPC device

sooo you basically want a Celio Redfly with a touchscreen, without a keyboard that you can mount in your dashboard?

http://www.engadget.com/2008/11/18/c...one-is-asking/

That might be cool. Wouldn't be too hard for a devleoper to create a fullscreen touch navigator optimized for in-car use (that is big buttons to the core features: music, speed dial, navigation)

Ive seen some articles about iPhone docks in cars, i think it was a range rover. so this would be the docking solution for WinMo phones.
