Great site for checking signal strength

I don't know about the rest of you...but I check my signal strength by looking at the little signal indicator at the top of my today screen.

ok wise guy, how about if u r going on vacation and want to know what kind of reception u will have there?

Hmmm...now that's a good question.

My answer is this: I would get off the plane, fire up the cell phone and look at the signal meter on my phone.

1 bar on the meter = hit the hotel pool and have a few drinks
2 bars on the meter = hit the hotel pool and have a few drinks
3 bars on the meter = hit the hotel pool and have a few drinks
4 bars on the meter =hit the hotel pool and have a few drinks...and call my friends to come join us!

p.s....if I'm on vacation then I've got no worries about cell service.

it could be useful though if you were going on a trip and inputted the postal code. Then you'd know if that area had good coverage. i guess.
