I dont think the 6700 supports Rev A. For some reason I'm thinking the 6800 is the first phone to support it.

Re: Data speeds

Thanks for the links, I've been looking for a way to test my data speeds. My carrier (Alltel - just merged with Verizon Wireless) started updating their towers last Monday in my area. I now get an "rA" icon so I assume I have Rev A but it does not seem any faster than my previous connection speeds when my phone displayed "Ev" (which I assume is EVDO Rev 0). Anyway, I did not do the speed test when I was on Ev since I did not have the links given here. By the way, PIE seems about twice as fast as Opera 9.5. I've run the tests numerous times and here are my average results with the 400Mb files size: 600-650kb/sec with PIE; 250-330 kb/sec with Opera. This is an average of my fastest speeds. My slowest speeds were: 450 with PIE and 170 with Opera. Based on these results, I think I'm going to switch to using PIE!

Does anyone know what speeds I should get with rev A?

TIA,
Vlip3

Re: Data speeds

I like this site better,http://mobilespeedtest.com more reliable I think..
The results I just got though, are crap compared to results I have gotten before, (see results below in signature)and at night.. If you have a diamond there is a program that enables tthe speed tester built into your phone! Should woork with pro's too i would think? I have the file, gimme a few and I'll put it up if anyone is interested??

Re: Data speeds

Here is a link to forum page instead, to get Pocket Speed Test for windows mobile phones. App for testing speeds instead of using websites.. I was wrong, thought it was specificly for diamond, its not...
