Compressing full length videos

Ive searched and havent come up with the answers I need. I just got my 2g card, and I was wondering what programs to use to compress my full length videos. Anyone have any suggestions that work good and are easy to use?

you can use wmp to sync your movies and compress them.

its a fairly decent program, i use it myself.
