Re: 12 - 16 GB MicroSD cards.. When?

Sorry for bumping this old thread, but only reason I'm bumping this thread is with the HTC Touch Pro scheduled to be released sometime in October and my wanting to increase the amount of storage on my phone when I buy it, I found this website that is doing a pre-order and says that the 16gb is scheduled to be available in October (perfect timing for the Sprint Touch Pro release).

Anybody have any newer updates than this?

Re: 12 - 16 GB MicroSD cards.. When?

For those of you that are interested, it looks like the 16gb microSD cards are going to start popping up for pre-order fairly soon.

Doing a quick conversion (GBP British pounds to $)
38.29 GBP = 67.3564 USD

I hope this is true! For the first time in a long time, my memory upgrade will be under $100

(1 Gb CF (~$240), 8 GB CF MD(~$165), 1 GB SD ($100), 4 GB SD ($87?), 8 GB Micro SDHC ($110))

I noticed the moby website says you can buy it with or without VAT. What is that? Does anybody know?

Only thing I could think is maybe it's an adaptor?

I think VAT = Value Added Tax

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taxatio...European_Union

I added it to my cart, but could not find the USA in the drop down menu for selecting country.

LOL...We're in the same boat. I tried it also, but no US available. Well, I might email them to find out if we can do pre-order in US. I did a quick exchange comparison and it's around $77. I don't know how much shipping would be though. I'm assuming it'd drive the cost above $100, since it's overseas...then again, maybe not for people on the East coast.

Re: 12 - 16 GB MicroSD cards.. When?

Hey,
If this is the way to go I could help, being a Brit in the US I have plenty of friends back home that could get cards for me and then ship them over.
I am thinking about it myself so let me know if a multiple order is the way forward.

Alex, if you could set that up, that would be awesome! Shipping a bulk amount of these microSD's would be much less for everybody than doing individual orders.

What's PPCGeeks policy on "Group Buys"? You sure you're willing to organize that? If so, I'll most likely be in. I'm sure there are a lot of people on these message boards that would be interested as well.
