Is it Just me, or is the Voicemail # ACCURATE NOW?
 

I was using my Mogul today, I noticed instead of 1 voicemail. It said how much I really had, it said 7. I deleted two, it said 5.

Anybody else notice??

By the way. I live in Philadelphia, PA.

I am not using any plugins or custom roms. Just the stock new sprint update. And it shows it on the today screen.

I don't have the voicemail today plugin in my ROM, so I can't check this out. This may be related to preparations for the Instinct. If that's the case, I'm psyched.

no sprints network usually only shows you that you have 1 voicemail waiting on your device, no matter how many you actually have. So, even if you have 9 voicemails, your mogul will only say you have one. Also, if someone leaves you a new voicemail, when u have more then one waiting already, your mogul wont notify u...

from what people are saying, the count is actually showing the correct number of voicemails, a sign that sprint is working on this and visual voicemail in theory

To the people who are seeing the correct number of messages displayed. Do you have the voicemail today plugin installed? I do not and I am only seeing one message after leaving myself three.

same here, left three, one notification....displays 1.... I always thought this was related to using a DCD rom...as the original one from sprint used to work for me... (but only on the screen from S2U2)

it could be they are only pushing this out in certain areas right now, several users here have been reporting this

If this is true how are they pushing out this update? Unless rom had this built in but not active but who knows. What roms are working with this? Does anyone have a screen shot they can share?

it would be done on there side, wouldnt have anything to do with the roms or anything. Thats why I say it may be in select markets, or they could be testing the feature, hell they could be releasing it to everyone, just doing it slowly.

Yes this is the Voicemail number on the Today Screen, I woke up this morning and it was accurate numbers.

Works for me too...Got my first notification with more than one message at 9:00am, It thought it was a fluke...get my messages....tested it myself and almost fell over. It's works...the simple things really do mean a lot. Like how many voicemails you really have!!!

Des Moines, IA - negative. left multiple, today plugin only shows 1, Slide to unlock only shows 1 message, but 3 missed calls.

I'm using batterystatus instead of HTC Home... and last night when i saw it said 3 vm's I started to uninstall it cause it just didnt look right to me LOL.... then i was like oh snap when did it start count my vm's!! it was right i had 3 vm's at the time... so i guess i can say

Affirmative DC/MD/VA area.... such a simple thing just brought so much joy to my day lol!!

Mine's showing the correct number of Voicemails. Called in, deleted a few. Then left a new voicemail and got the accurate number in a popup.

Living in LA, with a NY number.

Hopefully this helps.

I have the voicemail plig in up on my today screen and earlier I had one voice mail. Then when I received another it popped up as having five. I was shocked. This happened around 12 noon today.

wow so far it's looking like alot of east coast love.... i wonder what they did to change this and WHY NOW? i didnt update anything didnt change any settings all of a sudden it just randomly worked like some one flipped the vm switch at sprint HQ!

I am in Columbus, Ohio. My voicemail plug in is showing zero, I left a message for myself. I got the notification that I had a message, the plug in said "1 unread". Listened to it, deleted it and it shows zero again. I am on a stock rom with SPB Phone running, I did turn all of SPB off before the test.

Im on dcd rom 3.0.1 is there is no voicemail today plugin, can I download this plugin anywhere?

ok now try leaving 2 vm's and see if your plugin will show 2 messages unread...
