The way the rep once told me was the 44 plan was a business plan whereas the 29 was more personal usage plan.

They lied to you bro... I just switched to the 29.99 plan and have yet to see a difference in performance.

There is no difference in performance. Its a data connection and nothing more. What type of performance change were you expecting to see?

Like weedahoe said, it's a connection and a plan. Same thing. Although they can lower your speed if you go over on teathering.
