Vista and Titan --cannot sync notes?!

I am syncing with an exchange server, and locally usb cabling syncing with notes.

I sucesfully paired the connection...but no matter what I try I cannot get the notes from my desktop over.

Do I need to do anything special? drivers or anything?

this is a vista machine with Windows Mobile Device Center.

---is anyone able to sync notes with vista?
