Re: I lost my contacts help please
that's a first, and a good question. i've never heard of contacts getting lost after getting synced to the PC, but i'd see if a soft reset does any wonders as a start. and welcome to the site BTW.

Re: I lost my contacts help please
If you removed a sync on the device it removes all data that was synced via that connection. I figured this out the hard way and was never able to restore the data. Fortunately I had a backup that was less than a month old.

Re: I lost my contacts help please
This just happened to me last night and I recovered everything easily. On your PC go to Outlook and look in the "Deleted" items folder. All your contacts should be there as well as any appointments that were deleted. Highlight all contacts and copy them to the contact folder and do the same with appointments. I used the copy function rather then the move function as it happened again after fixing it.
After I got everything working I added PIM Backup from Dotfred over on XDA. I then backed everything up so I never have to worry again. Good luck and let us know how you made out. |
