In denver there is no reason you should not be on sprint evdo. I have used it out there over and over. I know it exists.

I love how they advertise around here and the closest shop is a walmart in ottawa. more than a half hour south of anything. It is annoying here too, even though there commercials are funny.

and sometimes what we see on tv without any local sales gets really old really fast. that's why i wanna experience a service that provides all the freedom we all can handle...

where's the love at ALLTEL? where's the [local] love?

Ok guys with alltel go to this site http://www.the-answerman.com/sidlist/prl/index.asp He has lists of prl for alltel with the files. If you are in a spint area use the data card prl to get evdo. He updates with current releases as they come out.

So I am in an Alltel covered area and I just flashed the new GPS rom. I am having problems connecting to EVDO now. I used to have no problems. I tried 30031 and 40036 and I still cant connect to EVDO. The EV box will show but as soon as I try and connect I get the error box saying unable to connect. Other times there will be the EV box but when I try to connect the bars will disappear and it will drop me down to 1x?

Any Ideas how to get back to EVDO?

Is this any different then dialing the *228 for the updated PRL list?

I did the 228 in the Alltel area and still got the wrong PRL. d/l the correct one.
