Yeah, Looks like they allow a NVP on the Sero plan, With bestbuy I get up to 23% off my already shockingly low bill...

an FYI to all, sprint is no longer allowed to put and kind of % discount on a sero plan...if you have gotten them to do this RECENTLY pm me lol, however if you havent done it recently or even if you have i would suggest not bringing it up again and leaving it there to settle cause they will take it off

If thats the case then when sprint switches over to its new billing system all accounts that have the discount will instantly be shut off till they would remove it... Apparently the new system is supposed to automatically close (halt) accounts that have improper discounts and credits...

Or I guess maybe they mean all NEW accounts on SERO and they plan to grandfather in all the existing accounts...

EDIT: On another note, I called sprint the other day and a CS Rep from the Idaho Call Center throughly overlooked my account, And the only thing out of place to her was the extra $5 I was being charged for my old text messaging plan. She would have definitely seen my NVP on my account page, So Im skeptical.

What is NVP? Also ALOT of CS people have no clue what sero is which could be why nothing, to them, looked out of place in regards to discounts. I have called Sprint prolly like 50-75 times in the first couple of weeks between getting the right things added to my account, helping my gf port her number, and switching out phones etc, and only a handful of people knew what sero was, everyone else was like what kind of account is this is this even sprint or omg you have some crazy benefits for your plan blah blah blah, so not saying she didnt notice it or did for that matter but just that id honestly say the majority of CS do NOT knwo what sero is

PH

ps but i mean honestly at the same time i could be wront and I could have just gotten the seleve few who dont know what it is

NVP is basically sprints name for a corporate discount , National Volume Program Discount... Or at least thats what they call it on my bill...

Quick question that i need to find out ASAP. I am currently in Canada and on SERO and i was wondering if my roaming calls here are just treated like normal voice calls like in the US. Also, is texting treated any differently? Thanks in advance.

Peanuts,

your calls in Canada are treated like normal roaming calls, just at a higher rate. About the text, since you're in Canada, if you text someone in the U.S. or they text you, you're going to be charged $.15 cents per text for international text messaging EVEN if you have a text plan already. hope that clears it up for ya!
