Rant: WinMo instability

This is a rant.

I'm getting REALLY tired of dealing with the instability and general sluggishness of Windows Mobile. I'm running the latest Mighty ROM. The phone inexplicably pauses often. Everything gets sluggish after 2-3 days if I don't restart. And sometimes the entire phone locks up for no good reason! I missed two meetings this morning because the phone locked up and G-Alarm didn't get to run. I ended up waking up naturally at 11:30. My work is laid back enough that it's not a big deal for me to head in after lunch, but I had specifically told the person that I would attend the meeting the day prior Are all WinMo phones like this? How do you guys put up with this kind of crap?

which latest "mighty rom"?

there are so many builds and so many cabs and tweaks you may have done after flashing.

No not all winmo phones are like that, and no, not all roms are like that.

edit: nevermind on what I posted before just saw ur on a Pro.

go to the CDMA pro upgrades and grab you a new ROM, try again brothaman!

Re: Rant: WinMo instability

Did you execute a hard reset after experiencing these problems and allow the phone to run with nothing added for a few days? There are applications that I have had experience with the slowed the device down and caused my device to miss alarms.

yeah but he's complaining that his custom flashed ROM isn't running fast, something tells me the warranty doesn't cover that
