Let me tell you what I have & how I change it & see if that's your situation & if it helps...

You said gmail... OK, I've got my gmail setup under the same place 7 of my other accounts are setup in under Sense 2.5 (aka/formerly Touch Flo), using Win Phone 6.55 on my Touch Pro.

I set it up & then go back into the inbox & do tools, options (you have to scroll up on both of those on my screen to see them), pick your gmail account, Send/Receive Schedule, and change the auto send/rec to anything from 5 min to once a day.

Is this what your looking for?
