I would have to agree although this is the snappiest ROM I've ever used (& I've tried them all)

This ROM looks similar but I still like some aspects of my 2nd gen ipod touch better...........

It's the ROM's performance that is close to Iphone not the theme's performance.

Both iPhone and WinMo camps need to chill out. Like, right away.

There is no "better" phone. We have to admit that WinMo isn't for everybody. It has its shortcomings -- it has many shortcomings, in fact, speed being only one of them. But it still does the trick for us, because we are a peculiar crowd that likes to tinker with our gadgets.

Most people don't give a flying crap about customizing. Most people are content with a couple fart apps, sports stats, and Facebook. They don't really care about iPhone's shortcomings -- they may complain about them from time to time, but they don't hate their phones because of them. No sense in shoving Windows Mobile down their throats, they'll just hate it because it's slower and less pretty.

So yeah. Chill. Stop bashing either side, else it's just a war between extremists. And I'm just a civilian here, who'd rather not get caught in the crossfire.

Soaa, i agree. There are good things, and bad, with both. Like right now the key oard and no flash are pissing me off trying to write this post.... But those are things that i sacrafice hoping that they will be fixed in the next fw update (which they wont). Its up to the customer to decide. Neither of them are perfect for everyone. Im just trying to explain that the rumors stating that the iphone doesnt do this or that arent true, so theres no reason to bash it as muh as we do....trust me...i was one of them once

I personally love it when I pull out my diamond and even non-techies are saying "ohhhh, an iphone killer! How's it work vs an iphone?" and I just laugh at them vs the response I gave my buddy last time he pulled his iphone out of "I can't believe you bought that PoS".
