Re: Creating RingTones and Alert Tones
I had the right format for both the custom ring tones and alerts. It took me a few hours but I found the right program which allowed me to transfer the tones directly into the phone without using itunes. I now have both custom ring tones and alerts. This is my first Apple phone and I have to say my TP2 was much easier to customize. I'm disappointed.
Then I found out that the great Siri doesn't even read reminders as they come due. This is my first apple phone. In many ways I feel like I went backwards rather than forward in convenience and customization. |

Re: Creating RingTones and Alert Tones
I'm glad you got it figured out. Care to share your secret to success?
This is my first iphone too, although customization was ALOT easier on my touch pro 2, I got tired of messing with it to get it working the way I want it...and at times, just to get it working decently enough to go through the day without getting thrown at the wall. I guess unless our iPhones are jailbroken, customizing is a leap backward...but practicality is a huge leap forward. The touch interface and usability of the iPhone works perfectly 99% of the time I need it and for me, thats why I upgraded. I'm not disappointed at all. |
