Bricked or what?

This is crazy...whats going on with my iPhone... I must Be Bricked..sprit does nothing but pop up on the screen i cant click anything...the most i can get black rain to do..is stay stuck on my iphone screen...irestore... i cant even get the terminal to stay open....any other ideas?

try this:

Connect your iPhone to your computer.Hold down the home button and the power button for about 10 seconds.

If your phone is connected to your computer you’ll hear a beep as when a USB device is disconnected.Next just press the power button. (make sure you speakers were turned on to hear the USB thing)

1) Spirit does not work on restore/DFU, it was just a longshot idea from me

2) Blackra1n is not an "official" fix, it was another longshot idea.

3) I never used that irestore just google searched it, there may be some commands we haven't entered in to keep it open


your phone is not bricked. Bricked means that you cannot use it because it is completely messed up and in no way recoverable. Like i told you, you can restore (losing data though) at any time, but we are trying to save your data.

if that didn't work (after doing a couple times) try this:

Hold Power Button + Home button for 15 Secs.

Release buttons.

Hold Home button for 2 secs.

I cant get it to do anything except show this apple that i have grew to hate over the past 2 days... earlier it was making the connect/dissconnect noise.. but the connect sounded kinda boggled... now i cant even make itunes connect or dfu start ...10secs together..10 secs on home...does nothing

ok i got the itunes connect back up and its making the connection sounds

getting that USB sound is key. you need to just try some of these again. It is very weird like that, I had my phone stuck in recovery once for like an hour, I just kept pressing power + Home then Power and it finally just re-booted.

The apple logo should mean that it is booting up, if you see that Apple logo then disconnect it.

Also, open up iTunes. (do not update!) What does it say? DFU, recover, nothing??

But when i plug it in sounds different...unplugging sounds normal...but when i plug it in..it kinda sounds like dun-dun-dun real fast

Itunes says nothing... yesterday it would say that i was in recovery or restore mode and now its just making the noises when i connect and dissconnect.. but itnues doesent even open unless i do it maunally and the iphone is not even in the side bar.

but ive sat around for hours just pressing home and power..home alone...power alone... and the end result is always just the apple with the spinning logo..just the apple...or the itunes connect...
