I'd try the blackra1n thing again, because you do have a 3GS and it is a tethered JB now.

after i install that libusb...its like my usb ports dont work right anymore... when i plug the usb cable into the iphone it makes a funny noise...the same tone but kinda like in really fast increments...like a denied sound.

Try using an XP machine....

I run it on xp and the command prompt works and all and it recognizes the iphone

but the command that you are suppose to enter does nothing with the fsboot but if i do reboot instead it boots it out of the connect to itunes mode and back to being stuck on the apple

I give up....Unless you know someplace that I can take or send it to that will fix it I guess ill have to restore.... I can go back ta 3.1.2 right?

Its says my iphone isent eligable for the requested build when i try to use the 3.1.2 ipsw

if so, just update to 3.1.3 and use Spirit to jailbreak.

can you get me a better screenshot closeup of the command prompt? (i dunno if it's your resolution or what but I can't read it at all)
