Make sure your phone is completely off and plugged in before you do that...when it gets to that screen run blackra1n as I said in the previous post

Yeah this is new to vista and 7

It sucks but there are some tweaks you can do so you don't have to do this step every time

what would they do if i went in the apple store for help...is there anywhere i can go...or send my phone to?

Orange did you seen my screen shot? That irecovery seems like the exact problem im having... if i could get it to work

ANY warranty you radon your phone you can kiss goodbye...

You have a 3GS, since you have used blackra1n instead of spirit, it is a tethered jailbreak vs an untethered jaibreak. This means EVERY time you restart your phone you have to follow these steps. It is the price you pay for having a jail broken iPhone on blackra1n.

Just follow the instructions and you should be fine, here they are again.

Plug in your phone to your pc...
When the iTunes logo shows up run blackra1in as an administrator...(ignore iTunes)

Well, personally, I think that you have exhausted all of your options.

Can you really blame anyone but yourself for not performing a backup in the first place? The worst that's gonna happen is you'll end up losing all your information if you perform an upgrade/restore.

I know it sucks but we all bit the bullet at one point in time or another...sry

you have to have the program in the same directory you are currently in. looks like you have it somewhere else.

move irestore and the dll file to c:\


then open command prompt and enter cd..

do this as many times as you need to in order for command prompt to just say c:\

now type irestore -s and follow the rest of the thing


lemme know if this works.

it says no iphone found.... i have it in connect to itunes mode
