Re: Microsoft's myphone, work w/Android?

Tried it, doesn't work. On the myphone website it states that myphone only works with windows mobile devices. Thus, you can only download .cab installation file. Android can't read these types of files.

My recommendation - on your old phone sync up with outlook. Export the contacts using CSV format.

Make or use your existing google account (I made a new one specifically for the phone because I didn't want it to sync all of the email addresses that i've emailed) Click contacts in gmail (on PC) choose import > select the file and ta-da.

click the gmail icon in android hit menu then Refresh.

Honestly this is the best way to save your contacts on any android device. Android came from google, utilize gmail for contact / calendar / and mail.

I even have my windows live mail forwarded to my gmail address. And also have it set up so that when ever I reply with my gmail account my email address is shown as blahblah@live.com

There are a lot of features on this device at your finger tips. Good luck with utilizing them!

This is an easier way to move contacts from a WM phone, if you haven't found it already.
