TVERSITY CLIENT? Stream Video???

1) Anyone know if there is a non-market app, (or even a market app/widget), that would allow me to access my home TVersity server? (I do so now through the browser).

2) Anyone know how to stream video from your home media server?
For example, Tversity will stream audio, but for Video it forces you to download the file first.
(I won't even get into the discussion of lack of Codec support).

3) Speaking of Codec support, I'm still looking for a decent media player. Meridian, which has been recommended to me, stinks.
