Major security flaw found in Android phones

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- A significant security hole has been discovered in Google's Android operating system for smartphones, which can allow attackers to gain access to users' personal information without their permission.

The flaw, which was discovered by three research assistants at Ulm University in the southern part of Germany, affects approximately 97% of Android users.

I'm sure we'll see a follow up article if they didn't. Those same research fellas will likely try again to access this information to verify Google's claim that's its "fixed."

OB German Joke... wow, it took THREE research assistants to sniff packets on the open wifi network to discover that google forgot the s. Then again, I've been to Ulm, only three is pretty good. They must be the top three.
