Is there a way to get rid of the gray box behind the time in Sense with Android

Is there any way to make that box clear? I know that windows mobile had the ability to do it, so I thought maybe there would be an easy way to do it. Does anyone know?

I don't know if there is a way to do it without rooting your device and replacing the the stock Sense clock. I use Beautiful Widgets. With that I can customize and download skins for the clock.

Agree on Beautiful widgets, but you don't need to be rooted to use it.

Okay, Okay, you made your point the first time. jk
Didn't mean to leave the impression that you had to be rooted to use Beautiful Widgets but it seems like I did after I read it.
