switching carrier
OK never really seriously looked at android phones,but now my daughter wants one and I need to know if they can be activated across carriers i.e. want to buy verizon or sprint device and use on alltel.Any help would be appreciated,Thanks.

doesnt VZW own ALLtel now a days?? a VZW should work.. SPrint phone, probably not....

Actually,no the gov. wouldnt let the deal go through with them taking all of Alltel so they just left the smaller rural areas out .From what I understand whats left of Alltel is still for sale. Thanks
