[HELP] Setting up SDK for Android on my computer
I apparently didnt have java on my laptop, so i went and downloaded it.. then its says a need a JDK version, ok, went and got one... still wasnt right..
so before a download another version(like 120mb so it takes a bit tethering) can someone tell me where to get whatever JDK version of Java I need to get this running??? TIA!

This is what I downloaded when I installed the Android SDK and it works fine for me.

This is info I was concerned about also, plan on rooting my evolution soon. I just formatted my laptop for this process and sdk was on my list of tools. I will hit thanks x2 once I'm on the full site.

i already tried jdk 6u23.. this is jdk 6u21, but ill give it a shot.. downloading now.. post back later
