I have always been, since my first purchase of a cell phone, a dedicated and (
mostly) happy Windows Mobile user...
but long story short, the open platform, turn-by-turn free navigation, amazing hardware, 8mp predicted camera, and Android 2.2 "Froyo" with native Hot-Spot broadcasting all make this projected 'next Droid' phone a HUGE TEMPTATION FOR ME!!
I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts on switching from my TP2 (with MightyROM) to this new Droid2 when it is released as early as Father's Day according to some Verizon store-staff mentioned in the Blog post. I am a huge photographer with a cell phone, I have just always enjoyed it, so a HD video capture and 8mp camera make my heart say YES, ha!

August 12th... Droid-2! Still undecided; but leaning toward purchasing, as a phone to "tide" me over (according to great advice from ckeegan) until truly remarkable devices are released from Verizon fully operation on 4G networks in 2012!
