Im loking at moving to an evo from my Q9c but is there a way that i can sync my phone and outlook like i can now. Contacts, calender, email, and tasks?

Re: Outlook sync

HTC has an app for that. I think its called HTC sync. Not sure. I'm getting an EVO too so I'm concerned too. My Samsung Moment doesn't have a sync app for outlook.

You actually cant use myphone with android but I put all of my contacts from outlook (export csv) and then import into gmail. then you can use ms exchange to sync your gmail mail, contacts, tasks and calender. As far as back up, you cant track your phone and the other cool stuff but the backup works better.

It should have ms exchange on it since I got the option to do so on my hero.

Re: Outlook sync

I think nat1 was talking about "my phone" (notice the space), a Q9c, NOT "myphone".

Re: Outlook sync

if you are running winxp, you need this
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...-download.mspx

If you have win7, you need this
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...-download.mspx

I have had issues doing it this way though

Re: Outlook sync

For your calendar Google released a program the will sync Outlook with gmail calendar. It only does the calendar though. I then ended up importing my contacts via csv and then to my phone. Google released this program 2 years ago and strict requirements with Vista only and office 2007. I lucked out and I had those requirements but they specifically say that it doesn't work with Windows 7 so i am not sure if it will work for you or not.
