any way to add speech to text to ported eclair?

is there any way to get speech to text inside your keyboard if running a cooked eclair 2.1 ROM (looks/acts just like the Nexus One except there's no mic in the text)

you should try the newest fresh rom 2.0d. it has speech to text built into the keyboard.

What keyboard are you using? You can try BetterKeyboard and DL the speech tot ext stuff from the marketplace....You can't run Fresh2.0d BTW.

yeah I was wondering if they started making fresh roms for mytouch...

I'm currently useing swype. and had the regular nexus one HTC keyboard before. do i get that "better keyboard" from marketplace, or do I need the .apk file, install that kb, then download some speech thing from the Market?
