That's not what I said at all. What I did say was that I don't think someone with a phone that came out in November of 2007 should be telling me all about Android and his perception of their growth in the marketplace. I said, in a less direct way, that I have no respect for the comments of a person who is using three year old technology and who is talking about the technology of today.

If that's still not cool, so be it. Believe me, I have been called worse.

Android does have a long way to go, but for a young operating system, it has done some amazing things too. For instance i'm talking to my phone, and it is typing this post.

I agree with you that Android was released a little too soon, but give me an OS that isn't. The fact is that, even after being released too early, Android is still a better and more stable system than WinMo. And the advancements are coming to Android much faster than they are WinMo.

But I must disagree with you about the lack of organization and business attitude of Android. I use mine for syncing to my corporate Exchange server. I am in IT and have both a port scanner and network mapping app installed. So for me, it is exactly what I need for work. And it simply works, which is a bonus.

Do I miss the days of WinMo and flashing my TP2 every 15 minutes? Sometimes. But I don't miss it enough to get rid of a device that just runs good and pick up a device that needs to be flashed immediately to make the battery last and to get better radio signal.

you are correct...never try to assume...it make an ass out of u & me lol at least thats what my dad always said. but a phone/os is not a bf or a husband and i can have them all! no need to choose or be faithful to one speciffically!

@kbussen- i agree that winmo hasnt made much progress...and being in sales i am aware that android is whats new and hot i dont try to get people to buy windows devices or anything but i am entitled to personal preference and so is everyone else...just threw my opinion out there. i am not a trend follower...yes i have it and have learned it and android has come a long way in the short time it has been available...but...i simply dont prefer it to winmo. i am one of those ocd about organization people and prefer to utilize the organization/windows simulated experience of winmo.

I have had numerous Win mobile phone I remember having the fist HTC phones ever for Tmob and att, the MDA and 8125 respectively, and All I have to say, is that is has always been a pain to get apps that work from phone to phone, and that winmo is always useless without a after market interface like SPB or Pointui... I've drank the android Koolaid and I am loving it. hopefully its popularity momentum will continue to grow and some awesome new apps will emerge

Calm down, Does it really matter how old the phone is? I LOVE my vogue. It runs pretty good for its age, even though its not that old. I'm not leaving WinMo unless WinPho 7 is as bad as I think it is. Then I'll probably have to go to WebOS because CricKet Data doesn't seem to work on Android. But for now I've got my trusty Vogue!

Its not about being a "fanboy". Its about seeing the facts and the fact that you are still squatting on a vogue, shows me that you cant handle change and like riding the horse in the same position for as long as you can. This conversation will go no where, there is always gonna be the "fanboys" of Winblow just as much as there will be for an OS you believe in. You keep enjoying that 3 year old phone while I embrace something with a future.

Relax, I was only kidding! That is why this site is the best for PPC info out there, because we cater to everyone: WinMo, Android, iPhone, BlackBerry, Palm, etc. And I do not want to see that spirit gone, I just wanted to give you a little crap about it

Well I am glad that women can have opinions nowdays. I would have been stoned in the olden days I'm so strong minded. (ha ha).
