Re: Verizon Nexus One port to Sprint?
I think it will all depend on who you get with Sprint on the phone and how they feel about adding the ESN from a Verizon phone. Sometimes they will and sometimes they won't; it seems random from what I have heard other members talk about in the past.

Re: Verizon Nexus One port to Sprint?
If Google sales the CDMA Nexus One direct to consumer can I buy it and use on Sprint?

You should because that is unlocked phone that does not have an ESN that is associated with any particular carrier. |

Re: Verizon Nexus One port to Sprint?
Now that would be an interesting concept... has there ever been a cdma phone that was sold as unlocked before?

Re: Verizon Nexus One port to Sprint?
Guys - i'm fairly certain that unless Sprint and Google agree to include the N1 on sprint, you're never going to get it ported.
Sprint has the tightest rules about bringing non-sprint phones to their network. That's the one thing (aside from lack of phone choices) that Sprint really sticks on. If the ESN from a phone is not registered with and included in Sprints system, good luck getting anyone to activate it for you. I'd be very surprised unless it becomes an official release. |
