Install APK?
Is anyone using a program called "installapk"? Its a program that goes on your PC and installs apk files to your phone via USB. So you can download apk files to yr pc and use the program to install to tr phone.
Just was woundering if it is any good and if it works, or if ther is a simular program that will do that? Thanks

I am not, I just copy it all over to my storage card via USB and then install with AppManager. But I would be willing to give InstallApk a try...

Htc sync for the hero lets you install third party and non third party applications.
http://www.htc.com/us/support/hero-sprint/downloads/ To allow the installation of non Android Market applications, from the Home screen press Menu > Settings > Applications and enable Unknown sources.
