Sprint and the waiting game

Here is my dilema I really like the Hero and I am getting tired of my Diamond. But it seems like everytime I buy a new phone a newer better one comes out a few months later. It happened to me with the Vogue and then I had to wait till I had some type of discount to get the Diamond. Now I have my full discount but I dont want to get the Hero if a newer better Android phone will come out. I know HTC has the leaked 2010 lineup but who knows if and when Sprint will ever get any of those phones. I read somewhere that the Google phone is working on GSM/CDMA multiple chip so it will work on both networks?? Is that even possible?

Some people say that Sprint is getting one of these phones because someone let it slip that they will be announcing their new phone in January. It is possible to put 2 chipsets in a phone, but the Google phone is VOIP only as of right now, if they even make one.

Re: Sprint and the waiting game

Here here! I wanted to get my niece the Moment, but we only have so many upgrades to go around. Man I wish I was on Verizon lately. Except when my bill comes in, that's when I like to be on Sprint.

Re: Sprint and the waiting game

I look at it this way: Having the hero requires me to be a premier customer, which means that the longest I'll ever have a device is one year.

IMO, right now, we are in an exponential growth phase of mobile devices. No matter what you get, within 6 months there is bound to be something better. Its just the way things go...
