While I am downloading "Windows Mobile 6.5.3 " from the list. Do I just install this using activesync & the steps listed in other threads or is there something else that needs to be done to make the rom work with the Treo Pro?

I know there is mention of a kitchen but I thought that was just if you wanted to add your own custom items. If I just want a 'regular' 6.5.3, can I just use the 28008 file?

These files are here to create your own roms. I'm supplying them so people don't have to rely on me to release a rom. I'm far too busy atm.

You can download these all you want, but it isn't a 'click/install' type process. My latest release is 23089. I'll bring out a built 23091 rom, soon enough.

tried everything to get 28011 to boot (xda sources, these, port from xip.bin) but it's a no go for me. anyone else have any luck?

I have had the most luck with using the XIP for 28002 and the SYS for the newer builds. Also, I have had issues with the phone locking up using the SYS for 28002 and 28008. To get the latest files, check the forum post below. You have to keep an eye on the latest posts because the first post does not include the 320x320 resolution. Sometimes you have to mix and match some of the files. It can also help to convert some of the modules to files.
