would love to have the knowledge to build but I have been flashing phones for 5 years and I am an addict to other peoples roms. lol

Would like to see a build that includes chome and titanium weather. I tried messing around with it one day and it had me so pissed off that I just hard reset. haha!!

Re: MatBee 6.5.1 ROM - 5.2.23089

acidhax, I just got a Treo Pro and am considering installing this firmware. Big thanks to you for providing it. I am in Canada running on the Sasktel network, I notice that you are in Canada also. Have you ever heard of anyone having difficulties after installing on a network outside of your own? Could there be anything to watch out for?

I don't see anything to fear. I thought the same thing, but it works just fine

Re: MatBee 6.5.1 ROM - 5.2.23089

now I am very tempted to try this, thank-you for responding.

Before I make the jump to WinMo 6.5, can you tell me when or if you are planning to make 6.5.3: Build 28004 your official release build?

I may want to just wait until that is ready to get the latest greatest.

One question about version 6.5, do you know if it properly supports WPA & WPA2 Wifi security? I have found that 6.1 does not connect to my employers network (have seen work arounds but all are goofy)

Re: MatBee 6.5.1 ROM - 5.2.23089

The 'latest and greatest' is going to be like one every other day. So I'm just going to do 'now and then' releases. I'd rather make kitchens for people -- so hopefully they'll hop on and make some ROM's.

Re: MatBee 6.5.1 ROM - 5.2.23089

Only issue I have had with the latest build is that the IE6 seems to lock up on the phone but running PIE fixes that. I have had no other issues up to this point with it.

Have had a program specific issue but assuming that the program is not designed as of yet for WM6.5.1. The start button and stuff on the bottom interfer with a screen on IM+ but it is still useable. You just can't see everything.

Re: MatBee 6.5.1 ROM - 5.2.23089

Hi to all!
I'm not sure if this has been discussed before & on which thread.. (i really searched) Anyway.. i recently ubgraded my sprint's treo pro to CFay's 21234.5.0.1 rom, and it is working fine but i hear that MatrBee's latest rom (6.5.1 ROM - 5.2.23089B ) is more stable and offer more features.. is there any chance someone out there can list in details the necessary steps to accomplish this task. If posible I need the instructions in a step-by-step fashion.
Thank-you-in-advance

You would do it the exact same way you installed Cfay's rom. Click the RUU (rom update utility) and have your phone plugged into your cable via USB. You will need to re-sync your contacts and any other information as well as reinstalling any apps you have installed.

Re: MatBee 6.5.1 ROM - 5.2.23089

Thnx mackie! I did excatly what you suggested and it worked flawlessly. So is it safe to assume that everytime I'll need to upgrade to a newer rom, I should do the same thing again?
