I can't get this to work. Clock doesn't drop anywhere. If I tap the clock in the top right, it just takes you to the clock settings. Tapping and holding does nothing.

The time on the top right, tap it.
Now tap and hold the time again.
Let go once its completely minimized.

(The HTC Menu is actually 100% transparent)

Time it right, and you'll get it

As soon as I tap it, the little shortcut bar with the magnifying glass, voicemail indicator, speaker, etc. comes up, and nothing else happens with the second tap.

I get an error "Invalid Model ID" when trying to flash your latest ROM. I've run CMONEX's Hard SPL

Have you verified that the HardSPL has actually worked?

Hold Camera + Power when you reset the device.
Veryify that .CMONEX is appended to the SPL version info.

Is that newest version or another?
Before using your ROM, we need up to new HardSPL here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=84822 ???

I still don't get it. But then again I don't know what I am looking for and if it is 100 percent transparent then what would I see?

I wait for the bar to minimize (The bar that drops down right below the clock with the battery meter and other indicators). By minimize you mean disappear to the bottom left corner and go away, right.
Then I let go and nothing happens.
