so i m tryin the SD method...has anyone else unlocked this way yet? its staying in bootloader (tri-color) screen and isnt prompting for anything else...been 5 minutes now...my touch pro immediately would go grey saying to press power to update..
any help would be APPRECIATED!!!

+1. Same issue here.

I have gotten the Unlocker to work on a previous Palm Pro but for some reason the one I am trying to do now is giving me tons of issues. Most of what people here have already posted on.

Same deal for me. Guess Ill wait until I get home and use the cable. No big deal. If only they had used the micro usb (or mini I get them confused), I have tons of those cables here at work.

This is what I did to get the SPL to work from my W7 system:

1. Sync with Windows Device Manager (whatever ActiveSync is called in W7/Vista)
2. With device connected, start SPL (Device shows tri-colors).
3. At first SPL screen, disconnect device (Device still shows tri-colors).
4. At second SPL screen (which says something like - you need to connection, have 50% battery, etc), connect device (ActiveSync might not show connection, but that's okay)
5. Proceed to third SPL screen and finish (Device switches from tri-color to grey with progress bar and should complete with a restart of the device).
6. To install 6.5.1 from CFay, now simply run that RRU.

that happens to me. i have tried my usb ports, restarted the system and it drops the connection. windows 7
