Lastly do you have any suggestions for getting 6.5 running in a new custom rom? I had only briefly attempted based loosely on your existing ROM but wasn't able to get very far so I abandoned it (the ROM that Ervius was spitting out was only 7MB in size).

Thanks!
EXTromcopy.exe or something like that. The reason you cant dump my rom is i protected it to avoid my work being stolen.

Ah, I wasn't attempting to steal your work, but rather just to see if I could figure out what needed to be done to implement 6.5, sorry if that was something you feel is crossing some sort of line.

Re: Helpful Tips/Files on building Roms for Treo Pro

Cfay,

Thanks for all that you have provided for us.

What exactly has to be removed from the rgu file to prevent the Palm app to configure instead of the normal autorun? I deleted the entries about extrom but it doesn't run the autorun.exe. Instead it briefly flashes with the palm "varnish" and then either crashes or doesn't run. It then immediately goes to the home screen without running anything.

Thanks!

You have to replace it with another UC Autorun, no?
