+++RaiderROM! WM 6.5 +CLEAN(Sept 14, 2010) - Page 12

How much RAM is free on boot up with this ROM? I've been using RaiderROM 6.5.3 and have about 26 MB free. However, this isn't enough to run iGo Navigation, and it crashes on startup, so I'm looking for a lighter ROM.

big update guys, 21911 is seriously the best windows 6.5 i have ever used. great battery life too!

In addition to the battery life, what advantages does 21911 have over the prior release?

I kid you not, 21911 is the fastest WM 6.5 build i have used, other people have mentioned the same as well over at ppckitchen. The titanium plugins look a lot better now too!

There is a bug with 21911 and also with the stock 6.1 rom that I cannot figure out. In most builds, when composing an email, you can start typing in the "to" box and select the email address. Once you select the address, the full address is filled in, underlined, and a semicolon is placed after the address so that you can enter another address. With 21911 and the stock rom, you can select the address, but it is not underlined (auto check names), and it places a semicolon. Plus, if you enable word completion from the settings menu, it no longer places a semicolon behind the address.

What all that boils down to is that you cannot type an email to two different recipients without going to the menu button and clicking "check names". If I remember correctly, this same bug is also in 21056, but not 21057. Any insight on how to fix this?

Yes, I agree 21911 is the fastest and most stable build, but this issue is a killer.

Yes, I agree 21911 is the fastest and most stable build, but this issue is a killer.

well you might assume that i am a power user and check and send emails on my phone a lot, sadly i do not lol. I have never noticed this "feature" [I like that better than bug

] of any build. The only thing i could think of would be to possibly replace the tmail.exe from another build but that would take some testing. might be able to look into it tonight but i cannot promise!

lol i got few questions. certain things I have not been able to figure out on 21911:

How do i get the battery life to appear at the top taskbar? )

Thank you. I have noticed the battery life difference too! my phone has not charged for more than a day, and it is at 40% still. As for the fastest, I have not noticed a difference in speed compared to the 6.5.3 ROM.

Internet Connection does not seem to work for me even after installing Spring_Customization.cab Tried doing PRL/Profile Updates, but it just says:

PRL could not be updated. please try again later. If the problem persists, you may need to contact Customer Service. Error code: 1012.

I have sprint btw.

Here's what I had to do to get data working: flash back to the stock sprint rom, update profile and make sure data is working, flash custom rom. By the way, I had to do this 4 times before my data/internet would work. As for the battery I'm not sure about a fix. Raider may have left it out intentionally.

I managed to get the internet working by pulling out the battery, and putting back in about 4 times in a row. After it started dialing #777 when i opened internet explorer, it finally started to work... slow but works!

as for the PRL/Profile Updates the Error code changed to: 407, and just says could not be updated. i dont know if this is referring to there is no available update, or it just does not work.

I would assume due to this error the only solution is to hard reset in order to update the prl/profile, but that is time consuming, and annoying. Is there an updated PRL/Profile for the new 21911?

Well since i was seeing such good battery levels i took the meter off... the battery meter in 6.5 builds cannot be modified to work with a custom taskbar anyway so it wouldnt fit in

I see woodstock had this problem. I dont know what could be the problem, i have sprint as well, i dont even have prl update or profile on my phone and my internet connection works fine. Updating profile SHOULD, only be needed if you are activating the phone initially...

glad you got it working. As for 21911 be as fast as the 6.5.3 rom, i guess you could say that is personal opinion but im not the only one who thinks this

but if you think my 6.5.3 rom was this fast i am happy with that!!
