I'm not a total newbie as I participated on XDA under the username blackjack2 when I had the HTC Excalibur so I'm somewhat still familiar with the terminology but yeah its great to find such a group of dedicated Palm Pro users and I hope to contribute in some way, shape, or form, I also believe in donations for great roms that work flawlessly, I've read that hacking this phone is no joke as compared to others like the HTC TP2 and the likes.

Anyway glad to be here and if someone can chime and clarify this thought I would be super happy.

yeah you can unlock and flash it. but if you want to get mms and web working after the flash using houdini go check out ryan mogul for the cab. i used it on the touch diamond and touch pro flashed to metro from sprint.

just dont use the carrier provisioning
just install the cab
