Wow I can't wait to try this rom built, I'm getting my phone tom. I acquired from Sprint and had it flashed to MetroPCS and its running the stock wm 6.1 pro, now question, does it mean that since my phone is flashed its necessarily unlocked, are these synonymous, or will have to unlock it first with some kind of app and then flash to MighyROM. I'm thinking when phones get flashed from carrier to carrier what's actually change is the radio portion phone and the os is independant from this, am I thinking correctly.

To be honest I don't even feel I want to try WM 6.1 Pro after seeing these awesome screenshots displayed so far, folks you know what I'd love to a few screenshots of the Calendar and Task application or if anyone is running Agenga One I'd love to see that.

I see that you've already installed Mike's ROM.. Could you tell us your impression.. compared to other Roms that u may have used already (including Zevot's 23511.5.5.)

IMO, there isn't "one rom to rule them all"(remember that mike, lol)
anyways, zevot's comes preloaded with apps i use...MatBee was built for stability, not alot of preloaded stuff...Mike's is fast, and gives u the space to install all the goodies(cabs, etc) u want. just gotta try them all, go with ur best fit...if u noticed, i flash a different rom almost every week..jus cuz i can..its fun for me. set them up how u like, back them up, do the same with the next 1.

@ dodgedak & mobilejorge:
the best way to tell if ur fone is ready to flash a new rom is to put ur fone into bootloader(camera+power button+reset with stylus), if ur unlocked, then it shud say XXX.0.36.cmonex or sumthin of that nature. if u c XXX.0.32, then u will have to unlock hspl, 1st. i recommend using cmonex's unlocker..she rules when it comes to unlocking

Thanks so so much for this guidance, as I get my phone which will be by 3pm, I'll do that and see what pops up and if not then I'll go with cmonex's unlocker and get things rolling quickly, I can't wait, thanks for the aforementioned description on the previous roms you tried out.

Hopefully down the road you can share how you backup those roms and reflash and if you don't like the present reflash back, I'd love to know this later on, in the meantime I'll google and find cmonex's unlocker and get started with that.

add-on: actually sum roms dont have sprite installed. heres a cab for sprite and zip file for ppcpim...throw CFAY a thanks for cabbin up the sprite backup for us

I had found the thread but I appreciate your fast response, I'm downloading all the software now in preparation for my device pickup @3pm today, I can't wait.

@Skeegcpp @MightyMike and others

1. Can you comment on the speed of the rom and if its snappy and feels peppy switching menus and doing the everyday multitasking activities.

2. Have you tried the new release of Opera Mobile which was recently out of beta. I'd love to see this built of Opera Mobile installed in the ROM how about it @MightyMike

How do I get into the program? There is nothing in my program list. I also looked under settings and in every folder in settings. On my home screen all I have is an update button. I also held my finger on the weather bar thinking I'd get that little circle and then some options but nothing happened.

And the temp is 14 degrees off so I am wondering if it is the weather from somewhere else. Do you know what site provides the weather for the app?

Thnx Skee.. you make a lot of sense.. i already installed Mike's ROM but now I'm stuck with the Screen Align step.. no matter what i do, the cross sign keep reappearing.. i tried rebooting.. removing the battery, etc... but nothing worked.. any suggestion?!!

r u using a stylus?? i tried usin my thumb once and that happened?? if so, then reflash the rom and start over
