Well, this is a kitchen, which is essentially a program that lets you create your own ROM--which is, essentially, your operating system. If you haven't flashed your phone with a custom, pre-built ROM yet, I would recommend you do that first, to get a feel for the process. The unlocking/flashing process is pretty fast and straightforward. There is lots of info in this forum on how to unlock and flash.
By trying out other pre-built ROMs, it lets you see what other people add in and take out, and that way you familiarize yourself with the programs and files that you might encounter within the kitchen.
