Well YES makes it more difficult, the icons can get mixed in. I don't use the transparent because when someone else tries to use my phone they seem to get confused because the icons mix in with the background.

Ok so who's still awake and would like to point me in the direction of how to convert cabs so i can cook them in? Or even if there is a treasure chest of packages somewhere of popular/most requested apps already converted? Either way i'm having fun and dont mind reading and googling, just thought i'd asked though. Thanks.

In this post -- http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...90&postcount=2 -- is a folder of tools that will take cabs to oems and exts. There's a readme in the folder that explains things, too, I think.

No, the one I linked to is different, but that looks like it will do what you want, too. The one in my link doesn't have a GUI.

It's a problem with runCC. Check all of your config.txt (Especially under the carrier) and make sure that you haven't deleted or removed a cab or whatever that runcc is still trying to find to install.
