I thought HTC Settings just took the settings icon and redirected it to the settings tab on the Manila 'today' screen. You would then get to your windows settins by clicking 'all settings'. That can be annoying.

Does anyone know what package creates the white/green envelope at the top of the screen when sending an SMS and then the "sent successfully" has to be cleared every time? I don't know what to get rid of in the kitchen to make it stop...

i dunno, it just started on mine when i built a rom. everyrom i built after that it was there. ended up starting with a fresh kitchen and its gone again.

Could it be Arcsoft? I know I get that sending an MMS with it... Not with an SMS

It isn't arcsoft, as i removed it from my kitchen and i still get it when sending sms. I think its the notification enhancement's or the sms bubbles one. Not sure but i will test and let you know. I use the 2.5 messaging client as i rarely send mms when i have email...

That is what I do too, just thought it was wierd that the virus software is detecting a trojun being installed when running the .exe?

I switched from 'AVG' to 'avast!' and I don't get the trojan warning anymore.
