I am having some issues getting XDA_UC to work with the latest kitchen. I have cooked a rom and it worked great...now it will not load any of my .cabs. It could be I am putting it in the wrong kitchen folder. I cannot seem to find the instructions on where it goes. I unpacked the XDA_UC files and dropped them in the EXT folder. Could someone possibly tell me the path that the XDA_UC files need to go in? Any help would be great, I hate reloading those .cabs every time I flash.

How do you keep the lock screen from unlocking when you open the keyboard? I've tried disableslidewakeup.cab but it always gets cancelled out when the lockscreen activates.

I actually agree...I hate installing them and they seem to slow the rom down. I tried using Package Creator in the kitchen, and all seemed to go well, but when I chose them in the kitchen to cook in they did not take. I am sure I am just putting them in the wrong kitchen folders...any help on this? Currently I use XDA_UC but would love to cook in the .cabs I want. I only have 5 I always use.

\EXT\Shared\Packages

then restart the kitchen.

I have already included patch 4 into this so no need to add the patch.

Also, I noticed this adds the Footprints and Documnets tab to manila, however the don't function. You can just uncheck them in the setting so they don't show. I'll have to look thru what files to remove from the EXT in order not to add them.

As an FYI, while this does work, since it was built on the prior version of manila, it essestially replaces version 2011 with 1922. Where I caught it was when I went to use the new delete feature on the email tab and it wasn't there. So in reality you will end up with almost 1922 all over again.

Question...So after I convert .cab>.ext what folder in the .ext folder does it go in?

Since I kept getting "out of memory" with these new opera builds. I decided to use IE but the bookmarks don't work. How do I fix the path?

Do I need to select IE enhancement in the kitchen? What does it actually do?

I think I will try this now. I have a pretty good rom built. Everything working...even mms. Now for the final pieces of the puzzle.

Goes in \EXT\Shared\Packages

Make sure it's not double nested.

You DO NOT WANT THIS \EXT\Shared\Packages\System - XDA_UC\System - XDA_UC\files
You DO WANT THIS \EXT\Shared\Packages\System - XDA_UC\files

I made that mistake once

Close Kitchen and open it again then set it True (comes on near the very bottom).

I wish Calkulin would include it, it's the only tweak I have to make to every kitchen and it seems to work good.
