Good to know. What is the Radio version? I flashedanced to this one the day they released it and the continued Custom ROM flashing. I want to check to see if my radio is the still the latest. Another post stated that the radio stayed in tact after a flashdance. In theory, if this is true, I should still be on that radio.

just a heads up to anyone using swype version 3.9 from the kitchen. the model name in the text file is for T-Mobile_Leo and not for Sprint Rhodium. it doesnt affect the function of the SIP, it just leaves the wrong model name when you look up the phone identity. i have attached a .txt that will correct the model name to T7380 (sprint rhodium). just drop one in each of the swype 3.9 EXTs and overwrite the existing file.

obviously this is for sprint rhodium for other models just copy the modelname.txt from the carrier folder for your specific carrier model

now that i think about it an easier fix might be to delete the file from the swype ext all together

<><><> never mind... the sip is locked to the device name and will only function with the T-mobile device name<><><>

thanx to formula 84 for the info

Anyone have a link to the later sys/xip for 6.5 (21895 or higher)?

Also is there any benefit to the newest drivers from the sprint 6.5 official release? If so, does anyone have a link to the the packages for those?

Thanks!

Please release soon Cal. Your kitchen is the only way I can make a decent ROM that meets my needs. I am eagerly awaiting your release.

You know you can pretty much modify the kitchen how you want. I am not the most knowledgeable but i have managed to update the SYS and XIP as well as the new OEM drivers and Camera. Create EXTs is also not really hard. What exactly do you want Calk to update so eagerly?

The SIP will not work without this modelname.txt file, if you delete/modify it I believe the next time you soft reset and try to launch swype you will receive a device incorrect error.

Man Thank You! I was wondering why typing was so bad, Anyone have an EXT using the 50433 build?
