I'd like to have something with a fast processor like the HD2 as well. The way Sprints going who knows if it will ever happen. Also with Apple going after HTC thats really going to slow things down. Which I think is part of Apples plan.

HTC will win....Apple's patents are too broad. You can't just patent the whole sliding motion, any which way, to unlock the device.

I'm sure by the end of the year they will have a 1GHz phone but everyone else will be on 1.3 or the 1.5GHz dual core ones

As for the Apple issue, worst that can happen is the disable those features on new ROMs but it's not hard to bring them back as the current ROMs have them, so I'm not worried

Yeah that was a funny patent, how can they even approve something like that, unlocking with a gesture on a image, come on please

Because I think it was the first of its kind. Apple is just pissed because they don't know how to make a smartphone and Android, Windows Phone & HTC are going to sink them.
