[QUOTE=a1d2catz;1603436]Yes you can. Go into the C:\Calkulin's WVGA Kitchen v1.6\EXT\Shared\Packages\System - HTC Animations - HTC\files
The file is HTCAnimationStartup.gif.Change this file to the startup animation you want with the same name and re cook and it should work.

What I normally do is make a copy of this folder and call it something different and disable the other and enable the new.

Hope this helps..

thanks man

Thanks T...I am gonna give this a try...I keep reading good things about it, but I have always been a fan of Quick Menu.

I hope this has not already been asked...I looked through the recent posts and did not see anything about it. QUESTION: In past VK's I could go in to SYS>build vers.>DPI_192_RESH_480_RESV_800>COMMON>redlist_dpi _192_resh_480_resv_800 and change the welcomhead.192.png image to add my own welcomehead, but now even if I put my own image in I still get the Windows 7 Start Screen. Does anyone know where the file is now located to change this picture? I can change the animations but not the welcomehead.

Thanks

If i'm not mistaken, the Windows 7 bootscreen is the background for RunCC.
You'll find it on the OEM\Touch_Pro2\Common directory of the kitchen.

If I select 2.5 HTC Messaging Client in VK do I need to also select 2.5 Manila 2.1 Messaging, or is it one or the other?

You need to start making an ext in EXT\Shared\Packages named Tweaks - "Whatever you want". The stuff you put in there will be built in last and overwrite other things. Calkulin just started putting all his tweaks and custom stuff into the Tweaks - WM6.x folder in the EXT\Touch_Pro2\6.x folder so it overwrites what you put in the SYS
