I use the flamerise.tsk, but I do not care for the flamerise background. I use max manila so I use a reg change to have it load the background that I want, which works fine. However, the flamerise background still shows up in the start menu and all settings menu.

I change it by going into all settings, home and selecting a different background to work with the theme, which works. I then use that same reg setting to cook into new roms.

When I re flash the flamerise background is still there. However, when I check the registry, it says it should be my new background. When I go in into changing the background through themes, it says it should be my new background. The only way to get it to work is to repick it again.

If anyone can help me figure out why my reg setting doesn't seem to work, that would be great!

you have to go in the flamerise.tsk file in the kitchen to change that. WinCE Cab Manager works best for that.

You need to replace stwater_480_800.jpg & stwater_800_480.jpg in \SYS\2XXXX\DPI_192_RESH_480_RESV_800\COMMON\base_d pi_192_resh_480_resv_800

Just rename you new images those two names.

Thanks, both of you. You know I thought I tried that before and it didn't work. I thought it worked for the normal backgrounds but not the start and all settings background. It's still weird that my reg setting doesn't seem to over-ride it.

hey guys, the stock sprint dialer has enable noise cancelation in the phone soft key menu. anyway to get this back in the dialer packaged w/ the kitchen?

To get the 480_800 and 800_480 for the TP2...what picture program works best for the size.

I use the MS picture viewer but it won't do 480x800. It wants to do 480x740 or something.

Thanks again. I did both ways. Change the pics in the tsk and change the pics in the sys. Works now without and reg tweaks.
