I'm using 2.5.1922.2911.0 because it has the documents tab. My question is what phone is that from and is there an updated package for it? Thanks.

Also I love how indagroove came in and gave you all the big smack down for not knowing how to add a package. Sweet.

HTC HD2 but you can enable them in the Manila 2.5 from the Topaz and the Rhodium.

Yep...you can get Documents, eReader, and Footprints to work. You have to add the files for each, add the 26948339_manila from a Leo version, add the reg entries, and add the entries for each in an app.dat.

That sounds easy enough but I guess the question becomes is it really worth the effort? You know most of the time with these upgrades I can't really tell a difference. The ereader sounds great in theory but I rarely read books and its got to be a battery crusher. Looks good but its functionality is questionable. Sorry for rambling in your ear thanks for the info.

It can be worth it to add the tabs if you are going to use them or if you just want to test them. I personally don't have the need and if you think about it the Topaz and Rhodium builds are built to perform without the added tabs.

You may know already but you can add it to config_op. as a cab and it will cook it in.

Question: has anyone been able to get the favorites button on the Internet tab to browse Opera bookmarks as well as IE Favorites??
What a pain it would be to copy/paste all the links over to IE.

Twitter, Documents, etc, work in their tabs straight out of the 1.51VK... 2.5.2011. Or are the updated packages doing something better?

I just added
- Sashimi autorun shortcut to one of my UC cabs but you could also use the config_operator.txt functions CPY1 & CPY2.
- along with an xml to delete it from the startup folder at the end of Sashimi's run.
It's kinda like a manual workaround cause I'm not sure how I can build that xml into the ROM.
