Can someone explain to me why when I remove tweaks - 6.5.x package from the rom, runcc craps out during flashing?

guess im one of the lucky ones, got the 1.5 beta downloaded fine no corruptions. seems ok so far not much different but seems solid so far

I tested it out also, everything downloaded ok but after flashing rom it gets stuck on 100% in RunCC

Because RunCC is trying to find the contents of that package. You need to edit your carrier customizations...

Thanks for the reply, but I don't see where runcc.lua or config.txt or manila.txt., etc. is depending on that ext. Anyhow, what do I need to edit?

I think I got the new 1.5 beta, but I have to ask, what's the easiest way to switch from the 1.4 kitchen to the 1.5? I have a LOT of customizations done, and I'd rather not lose everything and just start from scratch. I guess it would have helped if I would have tracked all of the changes, but I would be afraid to copy files (outside of EXT's) from one kitchen to another one.
Any suggestions?

Kevin, copy your existing kitchen and in the copy of your existing kitchen delete the rom, sys, and oem folders. Then copy over the rom, sys, and oem folders from the new 1.5 beta kitchen and you should be fine. The only thing is if you have changed some files in the sys which I have, like welcomehead.192 make sure you change it in this folder before you cook. \SYS\23518\DPI_192_RESH_480_RESV_800\COMMON\Redist _dpi_192_resh_480_resv_800

I am not sure if Calkulin has updated any ext packages and once I am done downloading the beta I will take a look and post. =)
